Once again, I finally get used to our routine, the teachers, Nick's schedule and we are being asked from Nick's teacher if we feel comfortable with him moving up to twaddlers. Currently, Nick is in the toddler room and is one of the oldest and is doing everything that they learn and master in the toddler room. His teacher feels he is ready. But are we, that is the question? The twaddler room is supposed to encourage language development, introduction to potty training and more organized activities with the kiddies. It is a "prep" to the preppers class, which comes next after twaddlers. Preppers is a "prep" for preschool. I do like the transition they have going on because I certainly wouldn't want Nick to become frustrated for taking on too much too fast.
We gave it some thought and consideration and we do want Nick to move up to the twad's room. A whole new schedule for mommy and daddy to learn and new teachers to get acustomed to. But it will only benefit him and that is what matters even though I want him to stay a baby forever.
